well the moment has came by
it's food fest 2008 again
great food in singapore gather all together
in suntec convention awaitng everyone to grab their hands of delicacy in singapore
the convention was swarmed with ppl from all over

digging in and buying home food fro their love ones
i cant help dashing out some photos
as well as money for these delicious food myself~!

the last day of the food fest ended
with a dip of favour full of spicy and sweetness that one ligers for
and as i went home feeling all excited with my food
a sad feeling goes with me as well to leave the place
with so many more food i wanted to get
but one has a limit to wat one can eat XD
so let's look forward for the next food fest convention !

A hot day out up in the sky garden
yet slowly as the time ticked by cosplayers from all over gathered around
and awaits photos to be taken
well yes it 's the time of the year again
as we are here in vivocity to attend yet another cosplay event
though the event turn out a little less then expected
but still everyone did their best to bring out the fun in the event

let's take a look how the event is straight away~!

even the drum mania attracts loads of players swarming by to test they skills!!

ranging from para para dancing , band performance
to the all and hot cosplay competition
every single event kept the audience rooted to their seats !

Natsu Matsuri @ Singapore Japanese School

Location : The Japanese School (Changi Campus)

A wet day out in the wild for almost 2 hours
as many excited crowd waited outside the Japanese school
for the long awaited Natsu Matsuri (Summer festival)
But hearts on fire was a little too "hot" for the weather
And many had no choice but to shelter under the umbrellas
and await for the opening of the gate

But one wont know how long a queue can get till we get a glimpses when we got in
a shocking yet not surprising crowd line while went all the way back

The atmosphere within the school was a rush of excitment as organizers and helpers whoosh past all over trying to get the crowd in order
So i took the oppotunity to take a pic of the hall
before going into the main event area
as well as a japanese family within the queue

Moving on to the stalls within the next hall were the accessories
as well as from Japan,since some of my friends were busy queuing for their yukatas
Both me and my friend HaruX,
went off for a walk towards all the stalls and food stalls around the area

Well the round the stall visits were done ,
we went back to the main hall to await for our friends
as they presented themselves with striking and colourful yukatas

Well our dear esu will tell u how she feels ;)

And With Mint playing as the female Pikachu,
there wont be a lonely pikachu in the pokemon world anymore =x

Finally after a long wait everyone was out with their Yukatas
and were famish and ready to dig our hands on the food
rushing by towards the food hall
we cant help crying for the smell we kept smelling all over
"Kari Bentou~~ Takoyaki~~toriyaki~~"

What's a festive without dances and performances?
The students and performers
displayed a wide variety of performance
that kept the audience on the peak of euphoria

Yea the performance were great
but who knows wat they had install for us?
folk dances! not just them but everyone were in the dance
dancing to the music asthe performers guided our every moves
Sweat and heat wont stop anyone from having much fun for it

A fun evening for everyone as we slowly retreat to a quieter place for a rest
before making out way home on a shuttlebus to expo

A long awaited day with many excited heart
the grand opening has come by as Ice Princess New gothic/lolita shop opens
As i made my way with ayami and painted to the party
the crowd was gathering all over for the party

The Striking red and black interior design accommodates
with the wide varities of gothic/punk fashions
give wonders to where one's limit can go ~!

while the 3 of us hanged out drinking champaign and chatted with each other
ayami cant stop admiring his dear daughter dollfie
so yea we decided that we should take a of them XD

the rest of our friends came by as well
everyone started gathering and chatting with each other non stop

after we bid fare well with each other
the rest of the guys went of for their karaoke session
the 3 of us went off for our dinner in a japanese resturant downstair
and made our way home with many topics of dollfies on the way

Oh my yet another Bday is here to count!
Yea our very own Ligen-kun
and well it's a big big celebration as well~
Planning was pretty much a whole day thingy
our first plan was a celebration in Shokudo!
the meeting area where we first gathered
but as many were awaiting for their Cosplay stuff.
location was changed to Orchard

but who say we cant have the pan moving even if the location is changed? =3
after meeting up with the rest of the friends at Far East plaza
and visiting Haru again
we were off towards Wisma for a food fest as well as awaiting the delivery gal
yap the gal with the ice cream cake Peiqi to arrive!

with much surprizes upon opening the box of cake
we were much more amuzed on how we can cut the cake XD
everyone took turns on cutting it
the fun was NOT eating it but cutting it XD
just look at how Gumok smile in the pics below~

Woo finally the cut is cutted
everyone settled down and started feasting their hearts out for the cake
yum yum and sure fills u up x.X

Hmmm shall we decorate the box with folk and more folks ? x.X

haha while everyone have finished our share of the cake
our poor Bday poor is left to kept the track running with his share of the cake =x
time to feed the baby come come~~

most of us stayed at the food court and chatted as well as singing songs to keep ourselves occupied which the rest went off to get their costumes
but in the end
we got so "creative" that we started drawing on the cake box
and wow griffiti at work xD

but everything will have a end as we went home with smiles on our face~

The very first coscon Sparks of a Grand opening as everyone rushes to get their hands on some of the unique collactables and freebies that's only limited to this event.Companies of games like Wii and NDS to cards games like Yugioh and Magic the gatherings to Dollfies collectables and blythe dolls are on display as well

Sadly some of us are unable to get out hands on them as the queue was crazily long
but it as fun when everyone gathered to collect stamps from all over the booths

But the main attraction is not just the booths but the amount of cosplayers on that day as well as the cosplay competition which was held around the late afternoon time.but wat really got our spirits up is 3 of our fellow kuraidori members are in the competition =)
and yes they all won prizes ^^

Noriko : 2nd prize (single cosplayer Cat.) - Leenalee (D Grayman)

Ryan & Ace : 1st prize (Group cosplayer Cat.) - Sasuke & Naruto (Naruto)

back outside the entrance of the convention halls.more cosplayers and other event Dresses came and gathering lots of photographer attendtion.of cos i wont miss a chance myself.
i guess one of the few nice one would be Kanda of DGM.the expression and posture given by the cosplayer ,brings out every aura of the char

and how can we miss out 2 pretty ladies in Waloli.When i first set my eyes looking for cosplayers ,they were the ones that stands out among others.Although the dressings are not of a cosplayer,u wont get to see someone wearing this all so often as well.Unique and With a cross of Japanese culture over Victorian taste made this "twins" a striking pair among others

But the long day has almost exhausted everyone to the core.

was just the thing for everyone.before blast back home for a nice comfy sleep
on their bed
The event turn out to be a blast for singapore as more ppl got to know of the
cosplaying happenings that are now influencing singapore.

The B.O.B.s strikes again as off they go for a celebration of one of the members
yes it's our very own Cancerian Peiqi's bday
though the party is kinda a small gathering
but we made no chance of waiting for fun to happen

our first stop was to get our tummies filled up with food
and yea Shokudo! is the pace for all japan food loving
our Bday gal was a little groomy that day
but soon she have her smiles all wind up after dinner

nothing like some small exercise of DDR @ Suntec
to work up another appetite as the hidden bday cake was still unopened
and lookie here dancing queen and dancing king! o.O:

phew ! crazily sweating away.
we were off to the basement of suntec where subway was
a corner for us to finally open the cake for our princess of the day
Happy Birthday!!

The grand day has finally arrive as the first team of ppl came byon friday for the chalet.
but some of us kinda came too early so we end up having to wake at the lobby
but that never stop everyone from having fun together

as more came by later part of the day
the chalet got really crowded and jokes and laughter flies all over the nite
no one has the mood to sleep.
but the next day was the start of a big day...

but that dont mean we can have fun out in the dark >=)
yes a group of us gather together for the night walk into the dark night.
playing and fooling around in the part and walking the dark maze simply creeping us out =x especially... the eerie noises....
no to mention the coffin like lamp post in the middle of the maze....

the journey never ended as we moved onwards to the end where the playground is really sweat out the fun till everyone got totally tired XD

5th July 2008

1st day of cosfest

most ppl woke up quite early in t he morning.
preparations were on the way as everyone busy themselves with dressing up
for those who arent cosplaying mwere busy as well helping along with the makeup as well as the hair styling
Have t o give credit to our Mintmilktea for doing a great job in helping everyone with the make up as well as hairdo.
our very own makeup artist for kuraidori.
the preparation lasted for almost 2 hours and everyone was ready to go!

Onwards to downtown east!
even for the early part of the event the crowds are already gathering
looking around for cosplayers as well as a glimpse of wat the booths have install for them

"Where are the cosplyers?!"
i am hearing shouting all over now.
no worries how can i forget about our dear cosplayers?

naruto is never far away from the sight of ever one
it makes no diff for Situ( Sasori behind ) and Shoujiboy ( Kankuro front ) and paintedheart and her friend(right pic)

on the way we even met our lovely lolita friends and everyone else~
nothing like a good group photo!!

haha all is not about just hard posing and nonne stop stopping by photographers as well
wat are chalets for if u dont enjoy it? =)
and yes it's the July babies Bday bash ~
There were so many cakes that simple donno where to start with
and with 8 pizza swooping away.everyone was too full to even eat much of the cake =\
the main bday boy's ayami our boss follow by me and kuchi_kuchi89
so yea 1 giant cake follow by 2 small cakes (thank you noriko for the tasty strawberry cakes!)

LOL the cake was too heavy (2.5kg) till boss had a hard time finding a way to pick it up

the second day of cosfest finally came
too bad for me my cam was having a lot batt prob
so i wasnt able to take much pic of the morning's event
still that doesnt mean i can say wat i saw =x
i mean to see iron man and tranformer prime i was kinda shock x.X

hey no ones running away without knowing our One of the Hardest to find cosplaying theme from the game "Riveria"
with little cosplay research on the characters,
the cosplayers had to put in the brain juice to the max for this theme.
many is know for ideas and stuff but for riveria it's a test of a cosplayer's spirit

Summaries of the day:

everyone met at Jurong MRT station before we move off to Yew Tee
but i was kinda late as i fell asleep.talk too late lthe nite before XD
anyway we meet boss -Ayami at the stop and had out lunch at the food court nearby.
was kinda sad to hear that everyone else was busy so they were unable to come for the rehersal =\
so end up we became a Hardo Gay outing XD

u must be thinking why called it hardo gay outing?
yea this is why we were all waiting the vids of hardo gay,a jap show
we were laughing so hard that our jaws almost drop off
especally the macroll MTV x.X
cant believe how ppl can created things so ownage xD

after bosses house visit we made out way to Haru too check out wat sensei have XD
it is always fun to meet up with ice sensei.and yes the HG virus owns XD
sensei was laughing so much her cheek almost cramped XD
so now u can see why we name out outing tread LOLer outing ~.^&*thumb up*

we ended our nite with a a long walk from Far east to Plaza Singapura x.X
can seems to find any billybomber on the way so end up we walked to ps and ate at the food court LOL
Itadakimasu~ ^^ it has now begin to be a habit for us to say that before we eat together =P

after the meal the Guys went over to the arcade and the gals went over to get some cake and a walk at Daiso
with a long talk before we dismiss.~.^

Summary of the Photoshoot:

A day full of traveling around and picking places for the right mood for photoshoot
everyone is full of spirit as we travel from 1 spot to another.
we started of the first spot at St Andrew's Cat.
Posing for solo takes was always something most would loves

have a few preview into the hearts of the DGM team

after of which we moved on towards our next destination victoria concert hall.
surprisingly our team of photogs spotted a great spot for a group shot andwe had to stop and take this~!

as we moved from one place to another.we can never have enough attention (not us photogs xD, the DGM team)
Gotta love it when u start hearing "OMG! Lavi~~ wah!!! Allen walker ~~~ Leenalee! so cute~~~~
haha and yea looks like there are photogs then just =p

anyway we make rest after victoria for lunch before raging on for more photoshoot in dhoby slowly moving on to paragon by foot.it's a parade of cosplayers walking in the crowd as everyone looks with envy and curiousity.
finally reaching out last stop paragon sky garden many of us are pretty much exhausted .so has our cam batts.with a finally few boost of shots we finally have allen meeting his love Leenalee.and round up a happy ending for our cosplay DGM photoshoot~

the days is not all about work and serious photoshoots
everyone had fun in the end joking and teasing with each other

Haha we started off our trip from bugis.
hmmm u must be wondering why are we in Bugis.well it's cos our first trip is towards Black Alice =)
the girls are looking forward to getting themselves so pretty loli dresses .
but it's just too bad they arent open ,but we did found something interesting.
we found a shop which rents out costume for everyone
lol and guess wat...they have a full set of hardo gay suits enough for 5 LOL!
blah~ back to main point lol

we made out way towards marina by foot.chatting and running all over.
the movie was cool.
one wont expect to see something that lame and yes more hardo gay scenes in it >.<
Ayami u are corrupting me with your HG virus >.<~

we ended our day by feating at billybomber's
my my it was a expensive meal T^T
but i guess everyone enjoys it =)

summaries of the days event:

The Day started off With a short intro of everyone at Chinese Garden MRT
As we enter the northern bridge entrance.i briefly set out the day's location and places of interest for photoshoot.
with a firework of a group photo at the pagoda
we start off the day with loads of solo and duet photo taking.
slowly moving from one spot to another.
but the weather wasnt very friendday that day.
the heat almost drived everyone to exhaustion.nevertheless the spirit is still high as everyone is still eager to take more photos.

as we slow close the days photoshooting,those who were left went gathering together for lunch
in Jurong point's pizza huts.
a fun dayu with lots of memories has once again been made~~

For peeps in classroom of kuraidori:
we will be goin to orchard after this to haru for the ordering of J sch uniform..
dinner will be settled in orchard too...

summaries of the days event:

the day was surely the start of an interesting day.everyone awaited eagerly upon walking there but we reach the spot with a shocking yet surprising news.NO COSPLAY?
it's a book fair o.O,but hey it's not just a book fair =)
it's a book fair + cosplay exhibition together
everyone had fun taking photoshoots .

but the most appealing person would be Noriko,wearing her Red and white Lolita
star of the day where many have took pictures together with her.no forgetting situ the Saori,akatsuiki and Ace with his cool suit
lastly we made our way to haru for measurement of J uniform as well as meeting us all cheerful sensei =)
dinner at ajitei was a total bomb with laughter and photo taking all over .

Summary of the Outing:

Outing is a great success with loads of laughing and joking.many of us cant stop laughing upon how the movie can be related to Cabal!
On top of that Dinner was a frantic fun when every enjoys themselves chatting away laugh non stop(yes really non stop) till we flip xD.
